Linda Schwartz, M.A., C.C.C. is a speech-language pathologist in Santa Barbara who has been providing speech therapy services since 1989. Ms.Schwartz has treated and consulted on individuals in a variety of settings including private practice, hospitals, schools, and early start.

 

She has extensive experience in special education and medically-based speech and language assessments and treatment.  Ms. Schwartz trained and worked at Cedars Sinai Medical Center as a staff speech-language pathologist in the acute hospital as well as in acute rehabilitation and outpatient services. She also worked at California Hospital Medical Center as the sole provider of speech pathology services for several years and was a provider for the Los Angeles Unified School District for twenty-two years .

 

Ms. Schwartz holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice speech-language pathology in California.

 

She is listed as a Subject Matter Expert with the Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board, Department of Consumer Affairs, State of California.

 

Ms. Schwartz has assessed and treated individuals ranging in age from birth through adulthood who have speech, language, voice, fluency or cognitive impairments secondary to developmental delay, intellectual disability, orofacial anomalies, autism, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, traumatic brain injury, organic brain syndrome, and stroke.
